The St. Clair County Arabian
Horse Association (SCCAHA)
is dedicated to
encouraging and promoting Arabian and Half Arabian
horses. We encourage camaraderie amongst our members
by participating in many different activities from trail
riding to competing in point shows. This Association is open to
everyone and members come from a wide area to join us in
our activities. There is room for
you even if you do not currently own an Arabian horse.
Come Join SCCAHA and have some fun!
Our 2007 show season offers two regular (double judged)
point shows and an open show. Our open show offers
regular halter, western, and English classes plus a full
complement of gymkhana, and some fun classes like
ride-a-buck and egg and spoon. The results of our
show season are highlighted at our annual awards banquet
and annual meeting in October.
SCCAHA is a participating organization in the OEIP and
riders who participate in OEIP may earn recognition and
awards based on the number of points they accumulate. In
addition, the horses used in these competitions will
automatically have their accomplishments recorded in
their permanent event record in AHA's DataSource world database.
Our Board meetings are held on the first
Thursday of every month at 7 p.m., with General
Meetings held in February and October. All members are
welcome at any meeting and we encourage you to
participate.
Meetings and Shows are held at
Goodells County Park.
